Delegation to Africa -Sarah/Natasha

We (Sarah Chambers and Natasha Carlsen) were asked to go on a teacher delegation to South Africa and Namibia this summer with Making the Road Organization and Prexy Nesbitt. The delegation is called: Teaching "Africa" in a Transnational Age: Countries, Continents, and Global Social Justice. Through this delegation, we will be able to engage in dialogue with social justice activists and liberation movement veterans in Africa, as well as visit communities and historical sites.

From these experiences, we will return to our schools with a wealth of knowledge about history and current movements in Africa that we can incorporate into our curriculum.

We are honored that we were asked to go on this delegation, but we will not able to attend unless we fundraise enough money! Your support means the world to us!!
