Deirdre is going to Masters Nationals!

This year, we are once again competing LIVE! It will be 35 months since I last stepped on a major platform. I am competing, July 8-10th, at Canadian Masters Weightlifting Championships occurring in Moncton, NB hosted by Colosseo Weightlifting Performance.
 
We were fortunate over the past two and a half years as the International Weightlifting Federation provide virtual international competitions to keep us sharp by providing us with goals to work towards. I am happy to report, I had some great successes at these virtual competitions where I won Silver at Masters PanAm Games in fall 2020, Gold at Masters Worlds and Masters Nationals in Spring 2021.

 

Now that we are again live, it means we get to travel - Whuuhoo!!  To help cover the costs associated with competing at this event (coaching costs, coach's travel costs, registration fees)  I'm offering you a chance to win some fabulous prizes from some fantastic and supportive sponsors.  

 

For every $5 increment you donate, you get a chance to win.  A random draw will be held for these prizes on July 1st.

For those who live out of town, the Mystery Dinner may still be arranged depending on your location or a substitute prize may be arranged.
