Deer vs motorcycle accident

On October 15th 2022, Dezarae was involved in a head on collision with a deer while traveling about 40mph in Elizabeth Township on her motorcycle. Fortunately she was wearing a helmet, however she did suffer severe trauma across her entire body. She was brought to UPMC Mercy trauma center where she is currently. Dezarae has deep lacerations on each of her arms, concussion, fractured digits, and a severe open compound break of her right leg. As of October 19th Dezarae has undergone 2 surgeries and been under anesthesia for 13 hours. She is on multiple drugs for pain and still heavily medicated. There is not a current plan of discharge as she does need atleast 2 more surgeries while here in Mercy and before a rehabilitation facility or skilled nursing facility is an option. We know this is going to be a long process and thank everyone for the help!
