Debbie fought back the tears, but she did it. We're all incredibly proud of her bravery, her desire to help others during her own battles, and for the incredible amount raised so far.

Hi. In February this year, my partner Debbie Derbyshire was diagnosed with breast cancer. Two operations to remove tumors, affected lymph nodes and other tissue were successful. However, the type of cancer Debbie has means quite intense chemo over a period of 6 months. There was always a risk of Debbie losing her hair with the chemo but unfortunately after only one treatment, her hair is almost gone. Whatever is left leaves her scalp very sore in places, so she's decided to have it all shaved off.

Its a traumatic and challenging time for us all, but Debbie always thinks of others. She wants to raise a little something for Maggie's at Clatterbridge Hospital as they've been unbelievably supportive so far.
