Dean Durocher Fundraiser
Doação protegida
This is a fundraising campaign for Dean Durocher husband of Julie Day Durocher .
2 days before Thanksgiving Dean collapsed at work after having a headache for a couple of days. He was rushed to the hospital where they did tests and diagnosed Dean with lung cancer that had metastasized to his brain causing swelling of the brain
Life as this family knew it changed in an instant. Dean and Julie have been happily married for 30 years. They have 3 amazing kids Corey is 28, Alyssa is 24, and Cole is 12, They also a beautiful granddaughter Kaylee who is 8. They are a strong close knit family and are devastated by this. Together they are facing this battle head on.
Dean is unable to go back to work. The effects of the brain tumors are now very obvious.
Julie was advised to file for disability for Dean, which could take 6 months or more. As you know , Julie has been battling cancer and her chemo has not been effective. She is a ROCK and now is taking care of Dean and his needs, taking him to Drs, scans, and radiation. Dean's skills have become very limited
The doctors have started radiation on Dean's brain cancer a couple of days ago. After this round of radiation the doctors will re-access and determine their plan of action. Dean may then have to start chemo for the cancer in his lung. The treatments will be grueling
Dean is the sole provider for the family. His insurance plan that covers Julie and their 12 year old son Cole will run out in 6 months.
We started this go fund me page to help pay Dean and Julie's mortgage, utility bills, co-pays (which are extensive) prescriptions, oil to heat their home, gas to get Dean to treatments, food and other household necessities. We do not want to see them lose their house!
This family has been through so much with cancer already. We humbly ask you, our friends, families, co workers to please donate to help this family. The holidays are upon us, and we want to help them alleviate the stress of all of this.
God Bless you for your generosity and compassion. Please share this with everyone you possibly can.
