UPDATE: David’s recovery is going well. He is on several heart medications and is comfortable in our generous neighbor’s ground floor apartment that is complete with all the necessary amenities. He is able to take short walks and visits. There are many close neighbors making sure he is fed and happy. It will be a long road to recovery, but we will keep this page updated with his progress.

Recently, David's health took a critical turn. His heart, which has poured out so much love through his music, began to falter. We came dangerously close to losing this incredible soul. David's dedication to his craft remained unwavering. In a poignant example of his commitment, after undergoing a full day of cardiac tests at Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, MD, he discharged himself against medical advice to make it to a crucial performance. Within a week of pushing through 7 set-ups & performances, he was back in the hospital facing a critical health crisis.
