Darren, Hollea, Kinsley, and Grayden

To all our family, friends, and anyone that has met my brother, Darren Colbert.
On Tuesday night, January 14th, 2020 at around 5:00pm, my brother Darren was at home when he had spoke to his wife, Hollea, who was on her way home with their kids, Kinsley and Grayden. Kinsley had just finished her horseback riding lesson and was excited to tell her daddy all about it. They arrived at the house about 30 minutes later only to found him not breathing on the couch. Hollea immediately called 911 and started CPR. She did all that any person could do until the paramedics arrived at which point Darren could not be resuscitated. The cause of his death is still unknown.
Darren was only 48 years old. He is survived by his wife Hollea, daughter Kinsley, age 9, and his son Grayden, age 6. Darren was a dedicated, loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. The pain of losing Darren is unbearable, but in the midst of this devastating loss, we are also faced with the immediate financial needs of his young family who reside in Laguna Niguel, California. There are funeral expenses, a mortgage, home expenses, car, school, and all expenses related to keeping a family safe and stable.
We are concentrating on selling Darren's truck and any other equipment that can raise money to keep Hollea and the kids in their home. Both our family and Hollea's family are contributing as much as we possibly can. Darren was the sole support of his family and there is no insurance. It will take Hollea some time to recover and then begin to look for work to support her children and herself.
We are so thankful for any support you may provide. Please keep Darren's family in your thoughts and prayers.
