Darren, and his medical expenses.

Hey everyone,

My name is Audry, I am Darren's oldest daughter, and I have started this fundraiser to help my parents with my dads medical expenses.

On October 15th Darren unexpectedly had his first massive heart attack, and was sent to Portneuf Medical Center's ER. He was admitted into Portneuf hospital for a week, and was then sent home. The week he was home everything seemed to be going in the right direction, and we were hopeful that this was just a wake up call. At his week checkup the Dr heard an irregular heart beat that he didn't like, and scheduled Darren to come in the next day to have a minor surgery to see what was causing the problem.

October 27th everything changed. He had another massive heart attack while at the hospital, and we then had to make some choices. His Dr's decided that he needed to be life flighted to Intermountain Medical Center in Murry, Utah. He was on life support for a few days, and was placed on an ECMO machine in order to give his heart time to heal on it's own. While at Intermountain he had a lot of up's and downs, but he was finally able to come home on November 9th.

The funds that are donated will go to his medical expenses, and any lost wages that may come with his continual care.
