For many who know Corey and his wife Marissa, they have always put others before themselves. They are hard workers who strive to maintain the jubilant lifestyle they have both created. Corey and Marissa have been together for 11 years and have been married just over a year now. They have tried numerous times to start a family, however; experienced three heartbroken miscarriages along the way.
On November 30th they announced 2 healthy boys were on the way and their dreams of becoming a family had finally became a reality. On December 28th during Christmas break Corey and Marissa were visiting family as they reside in Maryland. Marissa's water broke & was urgently transported to Danville Geisinger Hospital. "Baby A's" sack had ruptured at just 24 weeks into her pregnancy and the Dr. had interrupted the labor while ordering Marissa to be bedridden until reaching 34 weeks. We are now reaching February, and Marissa has been at Danville for nearly 5 weeks now.
Corey travels to and from Maryland every weekend to stand by his wife during this difficult time, while trying to continue his busy work schedule throughout the week. Marissa is an elementary school teacher in Maryland and has been unable to work since leaving for PA on December 20th. Corey, Marissa, and both families are trying their very best to prepare for the arrival of the twins and alleviate the unexpected expenses they both have faced these past couple months. Marissa will be staying in the Ronald Mcdonald house, until her boys are able to be released from the NICU.
We would absolutely sincerely appreciate any help at this time.
