Danielle Struble

Hello family and friends,

Danielle Struble's Support Squad was formed by members of her family. The money donated toward this cause go will  straight to Danielle for her long road to recovery. 

Danielle was in a motor vehicle accident on Green Pond Rd while on her way to work. The driver hit Danielle head on- it was a horrific accident. Her injuries are severe and will take her a long time to recover. Danielle had a shattered L2 of her spine and a fractured tibia/fibula on her left leg. She began with her spinal surgery (6 hours) and the next day, had surgery on her knee (5 hours). The surgeries were very successful but left her in great pain. A few days later, the doctors tried standing her up for the first time and she could not bear weight on her right foot. Turns out, she had a fractured right ankle and needed a third surgery. Without either leg to bear weight on, rehab is going to be very difficult. She will begin rehab when she is released from the hospital. 

Danielle has always been an extremely active person. She is always working very hard, exercising, or traveling. These injuries have been excruciating for Danielle to cope with, both physically and emotionally.  Every day she amazes us with her strength and determination.
Our continued support will be a reminder to her every day to keep going, stay strong and be positive. The prayers, love, and wishes have kept her smiling and optimistic.

It is going to be a long road to recovery but through it all, Danielle has been such a shining star! Danielle has remained positive despite her daily battles and the pain that she has been in. Danielle has been so thankful to all the EMT's, doctors, nurses, surgeons, and teams that have helped her. She is such an inspiration.
