Daniel's Battle

Update: For those who don't know, Daniel Sanchez was in a terrible accident the week of Thanksgiving. It was not known at that if he would wake up, let alone make a full recovery. He is a fighter though, and since then, he has woken up, started talking and started walking! The amount previously requested has been adjusted as he no longer needs the long-term care facility. At this time, we do not know what his full medical bills will be, but this fund will go towards all things not covered by his parents' insurance. Updates on Daniel, as well as when and where your donations will be used to come! Family and friends of 19 year old Daniel Sanchez are trying to raise money for his parents in this time of need. Daniel was in a terrible accident in Fairfield, Calif., the week of Thanksgiving and has yet to regain consciousness. Daniel has now fallen into a coma. He has numerous injuries, including a collapsed lung, pneumonia, multiple bone fractures and swelling due to a skull fracture near his cervical spine for which he may need an additional surgery. Daniel's best friend and sister was tragically killed in this accident.   We are trying to raise money for his hospital bills and the cost of the long-term care facility he is waiting to be transferred to. Insurance will only cover so much. That being said, Daniel will be at the facility for a year, during which time we hope and pray he finds the will to come back to us. He is a sweet, caring young man who has just begun his life. He just started his new job and was looking forward to the upcoming holidays.  Daniel has the biggest heart and always has time to help others when they're in need. Now is the time we hope others will help him. We are all praying for Daniel and the family.
