Dana Ashley McKelvey

Dana Ashley McKelvey of New London, PA lost her battle with addiction on August 20th, 2023. Dana was a beautiful, kind-soul and prior to her struggles with addiction, full of life. She was proud of the degree she earned in business administration from Goldey Beacom College. Dana loved her son and was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. In and out of rehabs and mental health hospitals, she never got the help she desperately needed, no matter now much her parents struggled to find help. Our hope is to raise awareness to the lack of help for people who struggle with mental health and addiction in this country so that families like ours do not continue to go through this anguish. Dana is survived by her son Donavan Cochran, her parents, James and Audrey McKelvey, and her sisters, Kelly (Tom) Dakin and Lori McKelvey. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her son, Donavan.
