Our beloved Dan (AKA Grumps) is the heart and soul of our family, and the backbone of our small community café. Right now, he’s in the hospital, facing a tough battle with his health. While he’s giving it everything he’s got to recover (because that’s just who he is), we’re reaching out for a little help to support the two things that matter most to him: his health and his family’s café.

If you’ve ever met Dan, you know he’s a big, friendly giant — a devoted partner, proud dad and granddad. Even though he might look a little grumpy — don’t let that fool you. He’s always there to lend a hand, asks for nothing in return, and has a heart as big as he is. He’s a quiet listener, not one to say much — but when he does speak, it’s with thought, care, and meaning.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

We’re raising funds to help cover Dan’s growing medical bills, and to keep the café running while he focuses on getting better. This café isn’t just a business — it’s our family’s main source of income, and a little community hub built with a whole lot of love, hard work, and heart.
