Kelly Hughes Lewey

Friends, family.. Kelly Hughes Lewey formally from Oxford, Ohio.. A townie, now a transplant in Illinois, was recently a victim of a horrific hate crime. She fell in to a very abusive relationship with a man, Rick Miller, and after 6 months of taking blows had the courage and strength to leave. Unfortunately it didn't stop there. On Monday, he broke in to her home and destroyed everything she owned. Luckily the animals hid and were not physically hurt and Kelly was not at home. She has nothing left! Even clothing was slashed, every item smashed and destroyed. He was caught yesterday morning trying once again to break in and said "I'm here to finish what I started". The only thing left was her, so we can assume what he wanted to finish! Horrifying! So, he's in custody and being held on many felony charges at this time. Kelly is left trying to put all the pieces together. While we can't change what happened, we can help make her struggle a bit easier.
