Isaiah Anthony

Donation protected
This is Isaiah Anthony. He is currently 10 months old and he has a congenital heart defect. He is the son of Wayne Adler and Ashley Jereczek. He was born in August 2016. After only one day at Winona Health, the staff realized he had a problem with his heart, so he was transferred to Gundersen in La Crosse.

Ashley couldn't go with because of her cesarean section, so Wayne met Isaiah there since he had to be transported in a special neonatal ambulance. Ashley was able to come to Gundersen the following evening after being released early from Winona Health. Isaiah spent 4 days in the neonatal intensive care unit. After the fourth day, they could finally go home as a family.

Since then, they have had many doctors appointments and scans to keep an eye on Isaiah's heart defect. In addition to his heart defect, Isaiah also has enlarged kidneys. They have also had multiple ultrasounds and a renal scan done to watch his kidneys. The doctors don't think he needs surgery on his kidneys, at least not right now. Isaiah is currently growing at the appropriate rate and hitting his milestones, but his pediatric cardiologist and the surgeons at Mayo think it's time to do Isaiah's heart surgery. Isaiah will have open heart surgery performed at Mayo in Rochester, MN to fix the hole in his heart and his leaking valve. The surgery will be taking place in August 2017, just after Isaiah's 1st Birthday.

We have started this fund page to help pay for Isaiah's upcoming surgery, his parents hotel stay, and to help out with the pay his parents might lose while caring for him after surgery. Every dollar helps! Please help this family out if you can!
