Hi, my name is Kate Townsend and I am the Head Coach of the Club STUNT Program at Cheer Athletics St. Louis. Gracie is an athlete on our 14U STUNT Team, Marine.

Gracie was unfortunately in a car accident on Tuesday night (10/25/22) and received a traumatic head injury. She is in the care of St. Louis Children's Hospital and they are trying to reduce the swelling in her brain. The injuries to her head are severe so we are raising funds to support her and her family through these difficult times.

Gracie is a light of sunshine, her smile is one that brings you to smile. She has a contagious laugh and a beautiful spirit. We are hoping this GoFundMe will bring help and support to her family during this time to show them that they are not alone and they have a family outside of their family that are here for them and her along the way.

This is what Family is all about. At Cheer Athletics we talk about being a family with our fellow members and being the home away from home for our athletes. It is moments like this when we see how far our family spans across the country and the cheerleading world. We lift each other up, become united as our teams, and support each other in the good and bad times through life. Gracie is in for a long recovery and a difficult road ahead and when she wakes up we want her to see and feel how supported and loved she is. #G3FCA2A
