Cross Canada Marathon for Cancer Research

Hi, my name is Jackson Charron-Okerlund, I am from Winnipeg, Manitoba. I am running across Canada to raise funds for Cancer Research! Terry Fox has touched the hearts of many Canadians and individuals across the world. I've always been in awe of Terry Fox. Terry ran halfway across Canada with one leg and a dream. It doesn't help he had cancer coursing through his body. If it wasn't for the Cancer I believe he would have finished his marathon. Since he was unable to finish he has inspired others with his story. On March 6, 2023, I will be departing from Terry's memorial statue in Newfoundland on a Cross Canada Marathon. I will be bringing his Adidas shoes along with me to keep us inspired on the journey. 50km+ a day for 120 days~.This marathon aims to raise funds and awareness for Cancer Research and to tribute Terry Fox, a Canadian Hero. 90% of the donations will be given to Cancer Research with proof and 10% of the donations will help support the run across Canada.
