I’m raising funds for myself after breaking my leg while wearing my prosthetic leg. The break completely snapped my tibia and led to emergency surgery. During that surgery, doctors had to remove a previously installed plate and implant two more plates: a smaller plate behind the bone and a larger plate covering the front of the bone.

This injury has kept me from being able to walk, and I have been out of work for over two months while recovering. Until I am fully healed, I have not been able to put weight on my leg, which has made this a physically and financially difficult time.

The funds from this fundraiser will help me cover the medical bills from my emergency surgery and recovery, along with my regular household bills while I have been unable to work. That support would give me some breathing room as I focus on healing and getting back on my feet.

I also want to say how much I appreciate the help my family has already given me during this time. Their support has meant a lot to me as I’ve been recovering.

If you are able to donate or share this fundraiser, it would mean a lot to me. Any help and support during this recovery is deeply appreciated.
