On June 17th 2018, Crihstian Montoya was celebrating Fathers Day at Pawnee Lake in Nebraska with his family when he tragically lost his life saving his 2 year old child.

Crihstian was floating on a raft with his son when they noticed they were floating a little too far from shore. Not knowing how deep the water was, Crihstian jumped off to push the raft back to shore when their son fell off.  He struggled but was able to save his child's life but sadly he was not able to save his own. Victoria Castaneda (Crihstian's girlfriend) attempted to bring him to safety but was unsuccessful as the current was pulling him further away.
By the time rescuers came to help Crihstian, he was not able to be found until hours later.

Crihstian gave the ultimate sacrifice to save his childs life and leaves behind a devastated family.  We are asking for support for possible funeral expenses for Crihstian and medical expenses for his son. 

We ask for your sympathy and prayers during this family's time of grief, as it is an unbelievably tragic loss.
