COVID-19 Relief for Refugees in Crisis, Buffalo-NY
Donation protected
The impact of COVID-19 is utterly devastating to those who are already living with very little. Instead of sitting back or feeling helpless during the pandemic... this is your chance to make a significant difference!
Buffalo, New York is one of the top 10 cities in the entire U.S. in terms of the number of refugees resettled since 2002.
The members of this vibrant & dedicated refugee community are in crisis. While many in this population rushed to take on an entirely new job on the front lines, putting themselves and their families at risk in order to keep our towns clean and running, some were not able to. Laid off from their jobs, their shops closed with little to no chance at small business relief programs, unemployment applications being delayed, and now excluded from the 'Stimulus Check,' our neighbors are going without food and have no way to make ends meet. As the weeks and months go on it has become clear that the need is just so great, and action is required.
Please consider donating a small portion of your income/payments to help the most distressed refugees. We will use 100% of the money raised to provide food and child wellbeing items to those most in need. We'd like to complete this fundraiser over the next few weeks to purchase & distribute the items ASAP.
Please, help us MAKE A REAL IMPACT & show some Buff-a-love!
Thank you,
Elizabeth Oddy &
