Local front line Covid-19 healthcare workers need to be protected and they need our help.
Inspired by conversations with a team from the University of Guelph, I am allocating my company's resources to manufacture face shields that will be donated to local hospitals.
I am committed to this support effort regardless of the success of this campaign. We will start Monday, March 23 and hope to produce our first parts in 2 weeks.
The costs will exceed our $5,000 fundraising goal but any money raised will allow us to do more. We will donate a shield for every dollar raised.
