Hi, my name is Richard Bailey and

I and Tammy Bailey are the parents of our amazing son Corey Bailey .

Corey was 28 years young and a very loving father to his beautiful 5 year old son Liam who adored his father like no other. Thy had such a strong bond!

Corey had his problems with addiction and was working very hard to overcome it, he was living at home with our family, his mother and I, his big sister Sheena Bailey, his son and three other children (our grandchildren).

Corey was struggling with depression and PTSD from a traumatic incident many years back but held it in publicly so no one would worry about him.

Corey had no enemies! Everyone loved him!

Sadly, I am writing this because Corey lost his life this morning and has left a huge hole in our hearts!

I have taken care of my family from the day that I married Tammy 33 years ago and have never asked anything from anyone.. I'm a very proud man!

Unfortunately the timing of this horrible event has been nothing short of humbling.

I have had two hand surgeries over the last three months and am scheduled for a total hip replacement on October 5th of this year. I have been out of work and won't be able to return to work until December.

I have saved money and had funds saved for my recovery, though it was only enough for my bills and food it was enough non the less.

I'm asking for help through this fund raising effort to give my son Corey a proper funeral, one that I know that he deserves! One that his son Liam can look back on and remember the amount of love and support that was displayed in his fathers honor!

This isn't easy for me to write, I found my son this morning who had died in his sleep. I am going to miss him so much every day of my life!

I ask you to please help but if you can't I understand and would ask that you pray for my son and best friend COREY RICHARD BAILEY..
