Support the Binary Freedom Foundation – Building a Safer, Stronger Queer Community
The Binary Freedom Foundation is a 2SLGBTQIA+ nonprofit dedicated to creating safe, inclusive, and affirming spaces for queer and gender-diverse people. We believe in the power of community care, mutual support, and resilience. Through wellness programs, arts and culture initiatives, sustainability projects, and crisis support, we provide vital services that help queer folks thrive.
Every dollar raised goes directly into programming that uplifts our community:
- Mental health & wellness workshops that reduce isolation and build resilience.
- Food security programs like our queer-led micro farm, providing fresh produce to community members.
- Cultural and educational events that celebrate queer artistry and history.
- Support and advocacy for those facing discrimination, marginalization, and systemic barriers.
Why it matters:
- 42% of Queer Folks seriously considered attempting suicide in the past year. (Trevor Project 2023)
- Queer and trans people are twice as likely to experience food insecurity compared to the general population (Williams Institute, UCLA).
- Community-based support drastically lowers rates of depression, self-harm, and isolation among LGBTQ people.
