Becky Sue Panayiotides spent 34 years as a Radiation Therapist, standing beside people during some of the hardest moments of their lives. When family or friends were diagnosed with cancer, Becky was quick to become their biggest advocate. She researched, made calls, reached out to doctors while doing everything she could to help find the best path forward. Just as important as her guidance, was her ability to listen and support - leaving no one to ever feel alone.
When Becky was diagnosed with Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC), she faced it with the same strength she gave to everyone else. She understood the fight, and even in the middle of her own battle, she was still thinking about how it was affecting the people around her. That’s who she was. Becky built her life around her family, creating a home where people felt welcome, safe, and truly seen. If you knew her, you felt it.
In honor of Becky’s life and the way she cared for others, we are asking that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to support research and awareness for Adrenocortical Carcinoma (ACC). Our hope is that through continued research, others facing this disease will have more options, more time, and more hope.
Thank you for helping us carry forward the care and support Becky gave so freely to so many.
