Aloha! We are Hawaiian Diaspora, an organization dedicated to empowering and connecting Native Hawaiians in the diaspora. Our mission is to create inclusive spaces, deliver culturally rooted programs, and provide tools and resources that support mental well-being, heritage reclamation, and collective healing.
We honor each person's unique journey through gatherings, educational initiatives, and community collaboration and strengthen a resilient diaspora united by heritage, belonging, and pathways home.
In 2025, we seek to bring this vision to life by hosting meaningful virtual gatherings. These sessions will provide space for learning, connection, and cultural reconnection for Hawaiians worldwide.
Your contribution will help us:
- Secure a Zoom webinar license to host events for up to 500 participants.
- Create psychologically safe spaces for Hawaiians in the diaspora to engage in conversations about identity, belonging, and cultural connection.
- Support speaker fees for cultural practitioners, educators, and community members sharing knowledge, stories, and insights—including inspiring journeys of returning to Hawaiʻi. The current goal would allow us to secure one speaker a quarter; however, if we reach our goal, we can expand the stretch goal to accommodate more!
These events ensure Hawaiians feel connected, validated, and empowered, no matter how far from Hawai‘i or how long they’ve been away.
Together, we are building a future where every Hawaiian in the diaspora feels a deep sense of belonging and pride in their heritage.
