Hi, I’m Quin — a proud dad, partner, and support worker with a deep passion for helping others rediscover hope, strength, and purpose.
Alongside my incredible partner Sarah, our 4-year-old daughter Rachel, and our newest little miracle, baby Denzin, I feel immense gratitude for what I’ve built personally — and now I’m ready to build something professionally that reflects those same values.
“Connect with Quin” is a new mental wellness business dedicated to supporting young men and men through 1-on-1 coaching, group mentorship, and practical, hands-on wellness activities. It’s built from lived experience, professional insight, and a whole lot of heart.
My Experience:
Over the past 8 years, I’ve worked across youth and adult mental health while studying Life Coaching, Mental Health, Social Work, and Counselling. But more than the courses and qualifications, it’s been the pain, confusion, and eventual growth of my own journey — growing up without a proactive father during the years I needed him most — that lit the fire behind this business.
Why This Business Matters
When young men are given the tools to understand themselves — how to manage emotions, express their thoughts, and feel safe being vulnerable — it doesn’t just help them. It helps everyone around them, especially the people they love.
When Support Is There:
Romantic relationships become safer and stronger.
A man who’s learned how to communicate, stay calm in tough moments, and truly listen is more likely to build lasting, respectful partnerships. His partner feels seen, valued, and safe.
Fathers become present and emotionally available.
When a man knows how to handle stress and stay grounded, he shows up for his kids — not just physically, but emotionally. He becomes the kind of dad who teaches by example, who makes his kids feel safe and loved.
Friendships grow deeper and healthier.
Supported men don’t feel the need to compete or pretend. They can be real with their mates. That creates stronger support networks, where men actually have someone to turn to when life gets heavy.
Conflict at home goes down.
A man who knows how to regulate his emotions and solve problems calmly is less likely to lash out or shut down. The home becomes a place of calm, not chaos.
When Support Isn’t There:
Partners carry the emotional weight.
Without the tools to talk or cope, many men go quiet — or go off. Their partners feel disconnected, unsupported, or even unsafe. Love turns to resentment. Distance grows.
Kids feel the silence.
Children pick up on tension. If Dad is angry, withdrawn, or unpredictable, they may feel afraid, unseen, or unsure how to act. Over time, they may learn to bottle things up too — continuing the cycle.
Relationships break down.
Without communication and emotional safety, trust fades. Whether it’s with a partner, parent, child, or friend, relationships suffer. Men may isolate, or act out in ways that push people away — even when what they want most is connection.
The Bottom Line:
When we support young men — when we teach them how to feel, talk, cope, and connect — they become the kind of men who build solid, loving relationships.
And when men are well, their families are well.
Because every strong relationship starts with someone who’s been shown how to care for themselves, and others.
