Conch love Key West fire help
Donation protected
This GoFundMe is to help our neighbor Kim in our community who lives next-door to the tragic fire that took the lives of four people in a family out of 6 which the community has been amazing in helping the fire victims. It was brought to my attention from my friends at the Bahama Village Music Program, that the neighbor and her niece were displaced as well from the fire. Kim works in the cafeteria at the Key west high school and has raised her niece Breonda Charles (30 years old now)which is an amazing thing to be do, but has lost absolutely everything in the fire and they still live together. Key West Housing Authority has been able to relocate them with a place but they have nothing. having lost my home here in the late 90s to a fire. I understand what this is like, especially when you have witnessed a tragedy and having your neighbor’s pass away, you would never think to ask for help. I’ve set a very modest goal to help them buy things that you don’t think of, such as kitchen supplies, bedding, furniture, day-to-day things that we all take for granted that are in our house. No matter if you’re in the Key west community or you’ve been to Key west and it’ has given you some joy I humbly ask that you donate anything you can and we will get these people some things that they need and move forward with helping the victims of the fire. Again, this is for the neighbors of the victims of the fire who needs our help just think of it as our community and our extended community giving a giant hug at a time when it’s needed thank you so very much.. Their nephew is helping them get funds from go fund me James Osborne in his bank to give to them. Go fund me doesn’t make it easy but we are determined to get them this money to help!
