Compassionate Aid for Hector's Final Farewell

Dear Friends and Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Hector B. Germosen.

As the daughter of Joy, his long-time partner, I’m reaching out on behalf of our family during this difficult time. Hector’s passing came suddenly, leaving us emotionally and financially unprepared.

We had hoped his immediate family would come together to honor him and assist with his final arrangements. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Despite being invited, his daughters did not attend the funeral. Instead, they went to the funeral home the following day and requested that my mother, who had already paid for the service using funds from her mortgage, not receive any of Hector’s ashes.

We are heartbroken — not only by the loss of someone we loved deeply, but also by the painful circumstances surrounding his farewell. At this point, we are simply trying to close this chapter with dignity and peace.

We thank those who have shown compassion and support, and we are especially grateful to everyone who helped us lay Hector to rest.
