Our Mantra is:
Dance - Sing - Speak - Teach - Learn
This sound system build is a way to help the community in the DC area to hold events that require amplified sound without having to worry about the cost.
This sound system is available gratis for fundraisers, dance events, performance, workshops, and public rallies. Since 2015 we have done over 50 free events as a gift to the community.
Please Support Us by spreading the word, helping us build more, or donating to our cause.
- Who will benefit
Local event organizers, activists, visiting groups, touring artists, workshop teachers, yoga instructors, students, fundraisers, and charities.
- What the fund will be used for
Offset costs for materials used to build loudspeaker cabinets, amplifiers, storage, transportation, and maintenance.
- How soon do I need the funds
Before the end of the year 2018. This will cover costs for all events that were done out of pocket in 2018.
- What the support means to us
All support including donation, sharing, and reviews on our Facebook page means the world to us. By reaching our goal, it means that we can continue to provide free sound system services to folks who are planning great uplifting events for the community. It means our future of helping folks who have a shoestring budget is guaranteed.
- How grateful I am for the help
Any and all help is super appreciated. This sound system can help other fundraisers meet their goals by doing events. This is really the gift that keeps on giving and although it's tons of work. I'm willing to do it with the help from my friends in the community.
