Jordan's Trip to Washington DC
Hello Family and Friends,
My name is Llonia Patterson and Jordan is my grandson. He has been given the opportunity to participate in National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) SEEK (Summer Engineering Experience for Kids) program this July in Washington D.C.
Jordan’s dream is to become an Architectural Engineer and goal he set when he was three years old. It’s totally amazing that he has never changed his career path to anything else. He has a love for Legos, puzzles, robots and anything he can disassemble and put back together. He loves mathematics, science, and reading. Jordan was awarded Super-Mathematician last school year. He is above average in reading, writing, science and math, all the subjects it takes to be an Engineer.
To Jordan I am Nonnie A.K.A. his grandmother. He has lived with me since he was a month old. It’s just the two of us. Finances are a little tight but I don’t want him to miss out on an opportunity of lifetime. Jordan and I would be forever grateful to any and everyone who makes this trip possible.
With your donation we will be able to enjoy the three week educational trip and I will be able to take him to some of the monuments and museums were he can obtain more knowledge along with American History.
This trip will be a way to help Jordan’s dream become a reality. Jordan is our future and we together will help his dream come true with our donations.
I thank you all in advance for your help and support in getting Jordan to Washington D. C., without you this will just be a dream; let’s make it a reality. Thank you again!
Have a Blessed Day,
Llonia Patterson
