The great game of golf is is well recognized for its roots in philanthropy.
Elliott, Harry, and Nate, the founding members of the Annual Poudre Open Golf Tournament held at Fox Acres GC in Red Feather Lakes, CO, are beyond excited to partner with the grassroots organization Colorado Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation (CBCAF) in an effort to expound on this core tenet of the sport.
When we read about the story behind Scot and Christina Somes, and their motivation to launch the foundation we were deeply moved. Is there a better way to motivate yourself for a weekend of golf, then by knowing that a charitable cause will benefit directly from our best (and worst) efforts on the course!?
Please consider donating any amount as all proceeds will go directly to the CBCAF via a secure PayPal transfer thanks to GoFundMe's platforming. As stated by the CBCAF founder Scot Somes, funds raised are distributed as grants directly to individuals faced with the costly demands of the fight against a breast cancer diagnosis.
