Michael Paul Fastuca

Several years ago, Michael was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PCS),  a chronic liver disease that  slowly damages the liver and the corresponding bile ducts. He has struggled with this disease for years, however, it has worsened in the last three months and cancer has developed in one of the bile ducts. His only hope to survive this terrible disease is to get a complete liver transplant. He is now in the hospital where the doctors have inserted a shunt to try to alleviate the painful fluid build up in his body and lungs making it difficult for him to breathe. He is at the top of the transplant list and currently waiting for a liver match.  His condition is very weak, however, if the surgery goes well, the doctors assure him that this will give him a new lease on life. Michael hasn't been able to work for months, and while he definitely needs are prayers, he also needs financial assistance. We are trying to raise enough money to help him through the surgery and the months following until he can return to work.
