I’m raising funds for my dad, Cigar Mike, and our family after a severe car accident changed everything. My dad consistently shows up for his community across the nation, supports me through college, and helps me navigate caretaking of his aging mother. This is a troubling time, especially for me, now being the caretaker of both my grandmother and father, my only supportive parent. He is facing a long journey to recovery, and I am doing everything I can to make sure he gets the care he needs during this difficult transition.

One of the biggest challenges right now is that he does not currently have an adequate residence for caretaking and recovery. Because of that, I am trying to secure a long-term care facility where he can be supported properly. This is not just an immediate need for the next few days or weeks. His recovery and care will take ongoing support, and our family is trying to stay stable while adjusting to everything this accident has changed.
