Grumpy Yoda Cat Is Sick
Churchill the Rescue Cat showed up with very little notice. I found out from friends who knew I was looking for a kitty, that this poor wee lad needed a home, as his elderly humans had passed. Unquestioningly, I agreed to take him in; he arrived days later, and I fell in love with his grumpy little face. Unfortunately, his initial vet checkups showed problems right away, and we are having continuing concerns.
Churchill is a loving, purring, at-least-11-year old cat, who needs a lot of love and TLC, to provide him a renewed chance at life. His last years were a bit neglected, as his elderly humans couldn't quite keep up, despite their love. He was bullied by the larger cat he lived with, and chased away from the food. He spent most of his time on an invalid's bed, providing purrs and love. Churchill now has a secure, safe, loving home, where he is eating properly and well loved and cared for by a doting human cat-mom. As you will see in the updates, he’s got a lot of issues. X-Rays in advance omg dental surgery show a herniated diaphragm and very scrambled innards. The innards are continuing to cause challenges for this lovable, grumpy-faced purrbox. I am asking for help for this adorable grumpy-Yoda-faced cat. I hadn’t expected sizeable vet bills right from the start, and now (in September) he needs a stream of diagnostics again. Please help me pay for all the diagnostics and care he needs and likely will need for a while.
