Christopher Mahan

In the early hours of Sunday January 26, 2020, the world lost a truly great man.  Many lives have unfortunately now been turned upside down and left with so many questions.  Christopher Mahan of Pittsburg, CA left this earth much too soon at just 33 years old.  Christopher is survived by his fiancé Jenny Norton.  Jenny and Christopher have been happily together for over twelve years and together they have a dog, Artemis, and four cats.  Christopher is also survived by his three siblings: Melissa, Mathew and Kevin; his aunt Christine, as well as the many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins. and countless friends and loved ones.

Chris was an honest, genuine and hardworking individual.  He has worked for Union Pacific Railroad for over 14 years and was one of UP's youngest Yard Masters.  Per some of his coworkers, Chris approached most things with a great sense of humor and was also known as the unofficial provider of donuts and breakfast sandwiches for Saturday morning shifts.  Christopher really enjoyed spending any spare time he had with Jenny and Artemis, as well as tinkering with cars, electronics and spending time with friends/family.  He was a true nature and outdoor enthusiast and he really loved all of his recreational toys.  He had a passion for learning and is known for his eclectic wealth of knowledge.  He and Jenny had great plans to continue building their lives together.  He will be greatly missed, and will be remembered and loved always. This fund is intended to help with all funeral and Celebration of Life costs, as well as to help Jenny with the financial support she will now need to get through this very difficult time.❤❤❤
