Chicko's emergency surgery, therapy & recovery

Hello, I am Chicko's mom, Michelle. On Monday, August 14th, 2023 at 8 am Chicko and I woke up for a normal day, we sleep upstairs and were about to come down the stairs for his routine breakfast when unfortunately a noise spooked him. This caused my beloved fur-son to try to run downstairs when unfortunately he missed a step and came smashing down to the bottom suddenly unable to move. I rushed him to the emergency vet where he had to be sedated, given X-rays and pain medication. The X-ray showed his back left femur to be broken. This will require him to go into surgery to receive a plate and pins to be able to walk again. After this, he will require 5 weeks of laser therapy. The emergency visit today was $500 and the surgery with 5 weeks of laser therapy will cost an additional $3500. Anything you can spare to help my baby get surgery and recover will be greatly appreciated. Anyone who knows me personally knows how much this cat means to me and ill do anything in my power to ensure he gets the care he needs and recovers with full ability to use his leg again.I love him more than anything.
