Chelsea is a Special Education Teacher at Knoles Elementary School in Flagstaff, AZ. She is loved by her students, colleagues, families, and friends. She has a wonderful boyfriend, Toby who is a wild land firefighter. They have two adorable dogs named Milo and Giles, aka Meatloaf and G Money.
Chelsea was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with a Philadelphia Chromosome Positive. She is currently undergoing aggressive treatment at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. Toby has forfeited an extended work season to stay by her side in the hospital.
She will be staying in the hospital for a minimum of 3 months and unable to return to work for an extended period of time after that, while she continues the recovery process.
We want to do everything we can to support Chelsea, mentally, emotionally and financially and Toby as he will not be working during his off season.
We are asking that people donate anything they can to help take some of the stress off them during this time.
