On the 13th June  2015 I am competing in the  MAN v HORSE  marathon race. It is 24 mile cross - country race through the Welsh valleys of Llanwrtyd Wells with runners competing against riders on horseback. This will be the first of 4 demanding , whacky and physically testing individual challenges aiming to raise as much money as possible for specialist sound, lighting and sport based development equipment for young adults with autism spectrum disorder and special educational needs.  With a younger brother diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders  this condition has directly affected my life and family and friends. The much needed equipment I will be hoping to purchase with money raised is essential to the social  development of a young adult with ASD helping them to make the transition from school supported education to adult life.
