The Miscarriage Association

Myself and my friend Amber Wilson is Hiking the Three Peaks Challenge in September 2023 within 24hrs! My nominated charity is the Miscarriage Association.

I’ve decided to raise money for this charity as in 2021 i experienced my first of two miscarriage’s. Unfortunately since then, multiple of my friends have also experienced this.

After my experiences, I realised how little miscarrying was spoken about. It felt like it was brushed off as ‘everything happens for a reason’ ‘it wasn’t meant to be’ and ‘it’s very common’.

The reality is that you lose a little part of yourself along the way and the pain both emotionally and physically is a lot to carry.

This association offers support to women and families to help cope with the challenges that miscarriage, ectopic and molar pregnancies bring.
