Helping our friends during their darkest time

Hi my name is Dave and myself and my friend Liam are trying to raise money for our friends Steven and Charlotte.

They are going through a rough time at the moment as their 11 month old daughter Summer has been diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, which is an aggressive form of cancer that starts in the nerve tissue and on her kidney. They have been spending a lot of time at the Birmingham city children’s hospital where Summer is undergoing her treatment. The treatment is going to be at least 15 months long, during which time my friends are struggling to work and earn money.

All we want to do is help them with paying some living expenses by doing some fundraising in which we will take on various challenges that include long distance walks, cycling, obstacle course and various other challenges that we are constantly reviewing.

We understand that times are tough, and that not everyone will know who our friends are, and why they should be supported. But I can vouch they are genuinely good people who are struggling during a really harsh time and wouldn’t ask anyone for anything. This is why I’m doing it for them. Even if just £1 was donated, it would be greatly appreciated.
