Doação protegida
Annette DiDomenicis, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and lifelong friend, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, in her cherished city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was 60 years old. Annette was born in the heart of South Philadelphia on June 14, 1963, and her roots in the city ran deep.
Annette's early years were marked by her education at Saint Maria Goretti Catholic High School in Philadelphia, PA, where she began to develop the strong values and deep sense of community that would shape her life.
For two decades, Annette dedicated herself as a records clerk at Saul Ewing, contributing her skills and commitment to her workplace and colleagues. But her true passion lay in the simple joys of life. Annette found solace in reading a good book on a crisp fall day, sipping coffee on her porch while surrounded by lifelong friends, completing challenging 1000-piece puzzles, relishing water ice with soft pretzels, and perfecting her recipe for Sunday gravy and meatballs. She was a true supporter of her community and was always there to lend a helping hand.
Annette's story was one of continuity and tradition. She lived on the same street throughout her entire life, growing up with childhood friends, and later raising her own family just a few doors down. She cherished the customs that bound her family together, such as making meat pies for Easter, wrapping presents with love for her children during the holiday season, and sharing in the exuberance of dancing with the Mummers on New Year's Day.
Annette is survived by her three loving children, Wesley, Brandon, and Jessica, who were the lights of her life. She is also survived by her two sisters, Rita Schillaci and Angela Azzarano (Celeste Revello), her niece Christine Anastasia, and her nephew James (Dawn) McLaughlin. In addition, she leaves behind four great-nieces and one great-nephew, who will carry forward the love and warmth she shared with them.
Preceding her in passing were her parents, Jack Azzarano and Angelina Raffale, who instilled in her the values that she held dear. Annette was not just a cherished family member but also an adored and beloved friend to many. She was a loving mother, a caring sister, a thoughtful aunt, and a loyal companion to those fortunate enough to have her in their lives.
A viewing to honor and remember Annette will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, beginning at 9 a.m. This will be followed by her funeral mass at 10 a.m.,at Stella Maris Catholic Church, 2901 S. 10th St, Philadelphia, PA 19148. Int. will be held private.

Your generosity and support are greatly appreciated as we come together to remember and celebrate the life of Annette DiDomenicis, a remarkable woman who touched the hearts of all who knew her.
