If you've ever typed a script into TikTok and heard the warm, wry "Story Teller" voice read it back — you've met our friend Joseph. More than five million people have used that voice. It belonged to Joseph Miller: actor, saxophonist, songwriter, Eagle Scout, karaoke devotee, and the voice of Marcus the Worm — a working artist for sixty years who booked more than 200 projects after age 70, and whose film Who Knows Oscar the Clown won Best Inspirational Film at the Cannes World Film Festival in 2025.

Joseph passed away in Los Angeles on June 26, 2026, at 79.

His family and friends are holding a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 11:00 AM in Los Angeles, with a livestream for those who can't be there in person. (For details on attending, request an invitation at www.josephmillerla.com.)
