On Monday February 25, a fire destroyed the Cega’kin Nakoda Nation water treatment plant and as a result, the community is now without water. Chief and Council have declared a state of emergency. This fundraiser is to collect funds to go towards helping the community receive any assistance they require including water and supplies. It may also go towards the building of a new treatment plant. Please help if you are able. They are also accepting in person donations of water and supplies at the community hall if you are able to do so.

Lisa has been in direct communication with Chief and Council regarding this fundraising effort and has received their approval. Once funding has been achieved, the funds will be released directly to Cega’kin Chief O’Watch via etransfer to be used for their intended purpose.
