Cedar Brill's Eagle Project @ T-190

My name is Cedar Brill and I am a Life Scout with Troop 190.  I am working on my Eagle Scout project, which will benefit the Family and Community of Mechanicsburg, PA.  I am planning to build a GaGa Pit, at the Mechanicsburg, Memorial Park so families and camps have a location to play this fun fast paced ball game.   

All monies collected will be used to construct the GaGA Pit or be donated to help the sponsor organization or Scouting.  I would like to collect all funds by April 1, 2017.

The old-but-new-to-some game of gaga — what some call a kinder and gentler form of dodgeball — is being chosen over traditional games on a number of playgrounds these days. And parents, educators, camp counselors and other grown-ups — and kids too — say the spread of gaga fever is a good thing.

They call the game of gaga "the great playground equalizer." It doesn't require a strong throwing arm, fast legs or superb hand-eye coordination. Almost anybody can play.
