Hello good people! My name is Courtney Brooks and I am a visual artist, curator, art instructor and art lover.
Over the past 5 years, I have taught throughout the metro Atlanta area and as well hosted a kids art camp in my hometown of Denver, Colorado. By encouraging creativity and supporting the arts community, I have been given the opportunity to help serve my talents in Haiti, February 2018!
I would love to volunteer my service to teach art classes with the House of Hope Haiti, a home, and school for orphaned and displaced children.
The trip would last 6 days in a small town outside of Port-au-Prince. With funding, it will help cover my travel, transportation, housing, food, a translator and art supplies for the students.
