Catherine is running the London Marathon in April 2025

Hi, my name is Catherine and after 10 years of entering the London Marathon ballot, I have been given a place for April 2025.

For those who know me, you will know that running isn't my forte but I am determined to get to the finish line. It might take me a while but I will get there.

I am running for many reasons......

I am running to show my children that if you put in the hard work, you can achieve great things.

I am running for my dad who sadly passed away 20 years ago. It feels right to mark this anniversary in some way.

I am running to prove to myself that I am stronger than I think both mentally and physically!

Lastly, I am running to raise money for the children's primary school. Trinity Oaks Primary is such a lovely school in Horley. Like all schools, funds are tight. All funds raised will be used to benefit the children and enhance their education.

It is safe to say, I will never run a marathon again so this will be my one and only request for your support. Please dig deep and donate if you can.
