**Fundraising for Cathy’s Memorial Bench and Tree at Oliver Tambo Recreation Ground**

We are raising funds to honor our dear friend and teammate, Cathy, by installing a commemorative bench and planting a mimosa tree at the Pavilion Sports and Cafe in Oliver Tambo Recreation Ground.

Our vision is to place a bench on court five, where Cathy spent many joyful hours playing and creating lasting memories with us. In addition, we aim to plant a mimosa tree, a plant that Cathy adored. The mimosa flower symbolizes International Women’s Day, reflecting Cathy’s strength, beauty, and vibrant spirit.

We hope to create a serene space where everyone who knew and loved Cathy can come to reflect and remember her remarkable character and the impact she had on all of us.
