Jumping and Skiing Toward Gold: Fuel the Dream!

I hope you enjoyed the stories on my blog and landed here to learn more about supporting my Olympic Journey. Nordic Combined is a unique sport that combines cross-country skiing and ski jumping into one exciting event where athletes compete in back-to-back competitions with little break between the two. I got into the sport when I was ten years old, and this year marks my fifth year on the US National Team.

I’m from Anchorage, Alaska but spend most of my time traveling across Europe and around the US in order to train and compete. Out-of-pocket costs for an elite Nordic

Combined athlete are about $30,000 a year, and we receive no direct financial support from any governing body.

It takes a community of support to become a world-class athlete. With your help, I believe I have an excellent chance of turning my dream into reality.
