Carol Renzulli - For a Miracle
Donazione protetta
As you may know I have been in a long battle with cancer due to a BRCA1 gene mutation starting with Breast Cancer in 2004. It was only about a year ago, that I was hopeful that I had won my second battle with Ovarian Cancer that began in 2016. Unfortunately, a surgery end of last year had revealed the cancer has returned. This is my third battle and I expect it will be my hardest one to date. I remain forever hopeful and pray for strength every day. I have so much to be thankful for and so many wonderful experiences, family and friends. I hope to be able to face this, my toughest battle yet, with the same determination and resolve as I have in the past.
However, this time it is very different. I am writing to ask for your help. I need to reach out to you to ask for some financial assistance. I am not working and I am facing yet another very long road with new expensive targeted therapy treatment. I know with help from you, I can focus on the fight as opposed to any financial obstacles that will get in the way over the new few months.
Each and every day I cherish this life I have been blessed to be given. I try to do the very best I can as a human being. Life is a gift and I pray that I will be given another opportunity to unwrap that gift in the days ahead. I live by the words in a poem by John Greenleaf Whittier entitled “Don’t Quit”. His words are inspirational and I read it each morning when I rise.
“…….stick to the fight when you are hardest hit, it’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.”
Thank you for the amazing emotional support, cards and letters and thank you in advance for any contribution you can make. It will certainly go a long way in helping me focus on the fight once again. I am so fortunate to know and have the relationships of each and every one of you.
God Bless You,
Carol
