Five years ago, our beloved friend Carla bravely faced a breast cancer diagnosis. Recently, she received the devastating news that the cancer has returned and spread to her bones — a condition known as metastatic breast cancer.

This new chapter brings overwhelming challenges: physically, emotionally, and financially. With time away from work, ongoing treatments, and mounting medical expenses Carla needs our support now more than ever.

Carla is deeply loved by so many, and many have asked how they can help. True to her spirit, Carla is determined to throw everything but the kitchen sink at this fight! In addition to continuing her treatment at Northwestern, she is also pursuing integrative therapies — many of which are not covered by insurance.
